Direct deposit – a great choice for check recipients with bank accounts
Go Direct is a campaign sponsored by the U.S. Department of the Treasury and the Federal Reserve Banks to motivate people with bank accounts to switch from paper checks to direct deposit for their Social Security and other federal benefit payments.
To date, the campaign has motivated more than 1.8 million people sign up for direct deposit – a safer, easier way to get their money.
Direct deposit offers federal benefit recipients with active bank accounts many of the same benefits as the Direct Express® Debit MasterCard® Card – safety, convenience and ease.
